Abstract

he export value of Kalimantan Tengah Province declined 13.30 percent from US $ 143.55 million (May 2018) to US $ 124.46 million (June 2018). Cumulatively, there was a decline of 6.52 percent from US $ 996.38 million (January-June 2017) to US $ 931.38 million (January-June 2018). Despite the decline in export value, there was a surge in demand for imports of capital goods to 730.96 percent from US $ 6.04 million (May 2018) to US $ 50.19 million (June 2018). The high foreign trade balance remains a surplus of US $ 74.27 million (June 2018) and US $ 797.64 million (January-June 2018).
