Abstract

  • The total value of exports rose 8.84 percent from US $ 200.16 million (December 2018) to US $ 217.86 million (January 2019).
  • Mineral fuels are still the prime export commodity (US $ 122.50 million), contributing 56.23 percent of total exports.
  • Japan is the main trading partner country for export destinations (US $ 81.72 million), contributing 37.51 percent of total exports.
  • Kumai Port dominates Kalimantan Tengah's export commodity load service (US $ 35.35 million), contributing 16.23 percent of total exports.
  • Compared to the same month last year, export value rose 1.66 percent from US $ 214.30 million (January 2018) to US $ 217.86 million (January 2019).
  • The total import value fell 16.11 percent from US $ 9.06 million (December 2018) to US $ 7.60 million (January 2019). Compared to the same month last year, its value also fell 10.17 percent from US $ 8.46 million (January 2018) to US $ 7.60 million (January 2019).
  • The foreign trade balance during January 2019 experienced a surplus of US $ 210.26 million.
