Abstract

The total value of exports rose 36.80 percent from US $ 95.64 million (September 2019) to US $ 130.84 million (October 2019).
  • Mineral fuels are still the main export commodity (US $ 65.96 million), contributing 50.41 percent of total exports.
  • New market expansion of animal / vegetable fats and oils to Congo worth US $ 4.54 million.
  • The contribution of export transportation services through the loading port in Kalimantan Tengah fell from 45.96 percent (September 2019) to 33.25 percent (October 2019).
  • Cumulatively, the total value of exports rose 15.98 percent from US $ 1,569.64 million (January-October 2018) to US $ 1,820.45 million (January-October 2019).
  • Total import value rose 80.17 percent from US $ 6.96 million (September 2019) to US $ 12.54 million (October 2019). Cumulatively, imports fell 68.51 percent from US $ 195.35 million (January-October 2018) to only US $ 61.51 million (January-October 2019).
  • The foreign trade balance has a surplus of US $ 118.30 million (October 2019) and US $ 1,758.94 million (January-October 2019).
