Abstract

In March 2020 the poor population in Kalimantan Tengah Province reached 132.94 thousand people

The percentage of poor people in urban areas in September 2019 amounted to 4.28 percent, rising to 4.62 percent in March 2020.

Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in September 2019 was 5.17 percent, down to 4.96 percent in March 2020.

In forming the Poverty Line (PL), food has a share of 78.86 percent.

Three types of food commodities that have the most influence on the Poverty Line in urban areas are rice, filter clove cigarettes, and purebred chicken.

Meanwhile in rural areas the most important are rice, filter clove cigarettes and granulated sugar.

March 2022: The number of poor people in Kalimantan Tengah is 145.10 thousand people, an increase of 4.1 thousand people compared to September 2021

March 2021: The number of poor people in Kalimantan Tengah is 140.04 thousand people, a decrease of 1.74 thousand people compared to September 2020

The percentage of poor people in Kalimantan Tengah in September 2018 reached 5.10 percent

Percentage of Poor Population in March 2019 reached 4.98%
