Abstract

The frequency of visits by ships in the ports of the Kalimantan Tengah region fell 5.13 percent, from 721 visits (November 2020) to 684 visits (December 2020).
  • The number of passengers via sea transportation decreased 0.45 percent, from 18,834 people (November 2020) to 18,750 people (December 2020).
  • Freight traffic by sea rose 1.37 percent, from 1.40 million tons (November 2020) to 1.42 million tons (December 2020).
  • Sea passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (75.76 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (49.08 percent).
  • Flight frequency increased by 10.04 percent, from 767 flights (November 2020) to 844 flights (December 2020).
  • The number of passengers via air transportation rose 4.31 percent, from 66,358 people (November 2020) to 69,215 people (December 2020).
  • Freight traffic by air also increased by 13.95 percent, from 1,018 tons (November 2020) to 1,160 tons (December 2020).
