Abstract

  • Kalimantan Tengah's export value in January 2021 reached US $ 232.57 million, up 22.94 percent compared to December 2020 or up 60.40 percent compared to January 2020.
  • Coal, palm oil and natural rubber (TNSR 20) were Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during January 2021.
  • China, Japan and India were the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during January 2021.
  • Ports in Kalimantan Tengah contain export goods worth US $ 66.68 million, contributing 28.67 percent of total exports.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's import value during January 2021 reached US $ 1.09 million, down 63.79 percent compared to December 2020 or down 68.50 percent compared to January 2020.
  • Fertilizer was the most imported commodity during January 2021 with a value of US $ 0.72 million.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 231.48 million in January 2021, up 24.34 percent compared to the trade surplus in December 2020.
