Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
  • NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
  • The Joint NTP of Central Kalimantan in March 2022 increased by 1.52 percent compared to February 2022, from 131.88 to 133.89. This increase was driven by the increase in exchange rates in several sub-sectors, namely the people's plantation sub-sector (2.39 percent), the horticulture sub-sector (1.79 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (0.02 percent). Meanwhile, two other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the fisheries sub-sector (0.74 percent) and the food crops sub-sector (0.71 percent).
  • In March 2022 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Central Kalimantan by 0.65 percent, which was mainly due to an increase in the food, beverage and tobacco groups (0.78 percent) and the personal care and other services group (0.76 percent). .
  • The Central Kalimantan Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2022 was 134.54, an increase of 1.73 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
