Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in May 2022 reached US$578.30 million, down 7.04 percent compared to April 2022 and up 103.32 percent compared to May 2021.
Coal, zirconium ore, palm fat, aluminum ore, and natural rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during May 2022.
Japan, India and China will be the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during May 2022.
Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 102.15 percent, from US$1,197.89 million (January-May 2021) to US$2,421.53 million (January-May 2022).
Kalimantan Tengah's import value during May 2022 reached US$0.53 million, down 78.61 percent compared to April 2022 and down 83.73 percent compared to May 2021.
Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value decreased by 41.60 percent, from US$20.24 million (January-May 2021) to US$11.82 million (January-May 2022).
Germany, Saudi Arabia and Singapore are the origin countries of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during May 2022.
Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$577.77 million in May 2022.
