Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in September 2023 reached US$212.35 million, down 36.48 percent compared to exports in August 2023, and down 46.52 percent compared to exports in September 2022.
  • Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, jewelry/gems and processed wood are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during September 2023.
  • China, Japan and Vietnam will be the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during September 2023.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value fell by 11.61 percent, from US$4,237.8 million (January-September 2022) to US$3,745.97 million (January-September 2023).
  • The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during September 2023 reached US$3.31 million, down 72.94 percent compared to August 2023 and down 46.44 percent compared to September 2022.
  • Mineral fuels, electrical machinery/equipment, and various chemical products are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during September 2023.
  • Singapore, Japan and Saudi Arabia are the countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during September 2023.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in September 2023 experienced a surplus of US$209.04 million.
