Abstract
The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in February 2024 reached US$416.68 million or an increase of 6.16 percent compared to exports in January 2024, but decreased by 17.13 percent compared to exports in February 2023. Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, processed wood and lignite are Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during February 2024. Japan, China and South Korea will be the main export destination countries for Central Kalimantan during February 2024. The import value of Central Kalimantan during February 2024 reached US$6.20 million, down 49.55 percent compared to January 2024, but up 208.46 percent compared to February 2023. Extraction machines, bituminous asphalt and chemical product catalysts are the main commodities imported by Kalimantan Tengah during February 2024. Malaysia, Singapore and Germany are the main countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah's imports during February 2024. Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in February 2024 experienced a surplus of US$410.48 million.
