Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in September 2024 reached US$318.08 million, an increase of 36.16 percent compared to exports in August 2024 and a rise of 49.79 percent compared to exports in September 2023. 
  • Coal, palm oil, zirconium ore, niobium and tantalum, crumb rubber, processed wood, titanium ore, lignite, and other non-timber forest products were Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during September 2024. 
  • Japan, South Korea, and India were the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah in September 2024.
  • The import value of Kalimantan Tengah in September 2024 reached US$7.29 million, a rise of 181.47 percent compared to August 2024 and an increase of 119.58 percent compared to September 2023. 
  • Fat extraction machinery, lifting machines, and asphalt were Kalimantan Tengah's main import commodities in September 2024. 
  • Malaysia, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia were the primary sources of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during September 2024.
  • Kalimantan Tengah’s foreign trade balance in September 2024 recorded a surplus of US$310.79 million.
